Covid-19: OSPOLY set to Matriculate Students via Zoom App (See Here)

Naija442 gathered that, The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, is set to matriculate the ND 1 Daily Part time (DPT) students for the 2019/2020 academic session via zoom application.

However, this was disclosed via a recent memo release from the Bursary Department of the institution, which was signed by Mr. Obafemi A. Okediya.

The memo read in part:
All ND1 Daily part time is requested to note that the Rector has approved virtual Matriculation ceremony for the 2019/2020 Academic session. The detailed information on the date of the matriculation and the procedures for the online registration for the ceremony shall be communicated by the Registrar in due course.

However, all the affected students are requested to note that only students who had paid their school fees and had completed their registration formalities would be allowed to participate in the Matriculation ceremony via Zoom.

Any defaulting student shall automatically forfeit his/her studentship at the close of the deadline for payment and registration, the present closure of the school notwithstanding.

Consequently, the ND 1 daily part time students are hereby given a two week period of grace, starting from the date of the registration. The approved school fees and complete their registration.

This is coming after the indefinite closure of the institution due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. It will be recalled that the ND 1 students resumed February 10th but the pandemic hinder academic and registration activities.
