Coronavirus: Prison worker dies after suffering Covid-19 symptoms (Read Details)

It was disclosed by the Prison Officers' Association (POA) that one of the staff member at Pentonville Prison in north London has reportedly died after suffering Covid-19 symptoms.

However, a circular from POA national chairman, Mark Fairhurst, reads: I regret to inform you of the death of an OSG 'operational support grade worker' at HMP Pentonville. Mr Bovil Peter, sadly passed away due to Covid-19 symptoms. The POA have relayed our deepest sympathy to our colleague's family. HMP Pentonville is located on the Caledonian Road in the Barnsbury area of the London Borough of Islington.
