SHOCKING!! Two butchered to death as two rivals cultists clash in Mile 12 (Details)

It was reported that two suspected cultists were butchered to death on Friday, during a clash between two rival cultists group within Mile 12, Lagos State. The cause of the shocking incident which occurred at about 1.30 pm on Friday could not be ascertained by Vanguard but it was gathered that the clash occurred between Oniyanrin and Mile 12 Underbridge.

However, an eyewitnesses disclosed that one of the victims member, popularly called 'Soko' who was a catfish seller within the axis was carrying out his business when some cultists showed up from nowhere and they started causing trouble which led the people of area running helter-skelter, many traders abandoned their wares and scampered for safety while traffic officials also went into hiding. And this lasted for about 30minutes before the Police operatives from Mile 12 Division came to their rescue.

However, by the time the dust had settled, two people including “Soko” have been butchered to death and that was when it dawned on people that cultists were at work.

It was also added by a passer-by, named Saheed Babalola, saying that the situation brought about apprehension as many motorists abandoned their vehicles and scampered for safety as those who were long distance from the axis thought it was a tribal clash.

Moreover, the chairman of Mile 12 Market, Alhaji Shehu Usman, who spoke with Vanguard on telephone conversation, he stated that the situation had nothing to do with the traders, because it was a suspected cultists clash.

And all the possible effort to speak with Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Elkana Bala was unsuccessful as he did not respond to his call.
