Lagos Ibadan expressway construction work has resumed (see Details)

Mr. Adedamola Kuti, the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, has disclosed that the construction work has resumed on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway.

He said the contractors have returned to all the construction sites in the state after yuletide.

Mr. Kuti disclose this to the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday that a large number of construction workers were back to site, while some were still returning.

He said all projects within the States has been picking up and would be done very soon.

“A large percentage of the workers resumed yesterday Sunday while some are just coming in today Monday and work has started.

He, however, added that on Lagos Ibadan Expressway, we will probably commence diversion work on the Kara bridge towards the end of the week to ensure that workers fully resume; so we will plan our work.

 Mr. Kuti further revealed that the contractors on the Lagos Badagry Expressway were already back on site to continue their construction work.

He said that the Lagos to Abeokuta expressway, project issues is being resolved to ensure that the contractor will returned to site any moment from now.

he further added that, In all our projects, we hope to push very well; we want to hit the ground running early in the New Year.
