Iran attacks two Iraqi bases housing US forces in revenge death (Watch Video)

It was reported that Iran launched dozen missiles at two Iraqi bases that hold US troops in what appears to be retaliation for the American airstrike that killed the top Iran commander last week.

One of the U.S official disclosed to CNN that there were no initial reports of any U.S casualties, but an assessment of the impact of the strikes is underway. An Iraqi security source revealed that there were Iraqi casualties, but Iraqi security officials later told CNN there were no casualties among Iraqi security forces.

it was further added that casualties occurred among the Iraqis at al-Asad airbase following the attack, A source from the Iraqi security tells CNN that the number of casualties are yet to be recorded.

It was revealed that White House aides had initially made plans for a possible address to the nation by President Donald Trump, according to two officials, but according to an official who said Donald Trump will not speak on Tuesday. But the President later tweeted, read below:-
 However, the attack comes few days after the U.S killed top Iran commander, General Qasem Soleimani,  in an airstrike in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad. The administration has sought to cast that the strike is an attempt to de-escalate tensions with Iran, but Tehran has vowed revenge for the killing, which it says was an act of war and state terrorism. It was also revealed through a statement released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, elite wing, disclosed that the attacks were hard revenge for the death of commander Soleimani.
